I am British born but have lived in South Africa for over twenty years. I'm passionate about animals. My wildlife oil paintings are well known in Zululand where I have exhibited and sold oil paintings for twenty-five years.

I am a committed Christian.

BIOGRAPHY

Born during the second world war in small village in England of a farming family, I've been closely associated with, and loved, animals (one of my favourite painting subjects), all my life. My late husband and I came to live in Zululand, South Africa in 1985. I currently live in the in Western Cape with my little dog, iZibi (who's name means 'Rubbish' in Zulu). 

I  love travelling, especially in Africa. My late husband and I spent many wonderful holidays in eight different African countries. I've yet to explore Botswana, especially the  Okavango Delta - it's top of my 'places to visit before I die' list!

I am a published writer of short stories and have also written, and illustrated, several children's poems.

ABOUT MY ART

I am self-taught. My favourite subjects are portraits and wildlife of whom I have intimate knowledge. I have exhibited in South Africa and my work is well known in Zululand.

My oil paintings are executed with artist grade oil paints on high quality stretched canvas on a strong wooden frame. They are sold unframed to allow you to choose frames most suitable to your home decor.

Paintings are securely wrapped in bubble wrap and posted, from South Africa, by International Registered Mail.
